SANYA

Sanya is an important port and tourist resort in the southern part of Hainan Province. It lies on a peninsula parallel to the coast and linked to the mainland by bridges. It is often touted as the “Chinese Hawaii.” Travel to Sanya is simple – regular flights to various Chinese cities occur daily, and you can always take the ferry. A large number of tourist resorts built by international hotel chains are being established.
Sanya is famous for its beautiful beaches, such as Asian Dragon Bay, Dadonghai and Tianyahaijiao. Since the sun shines heavily in Sanya, getting sunburned is very common there.
A large number of tourists visit Sanya and require short term accommodation. Seasonal workers in the industry also require apartments. The best place to stay is around the coast where the beaches are plentiful. There are many high quality self-catering apartments and service apartments.
